My blue and gold elephant is a reminder of female strength and love. Elephants are majestic. They are powerful, capable of removing great obstacles. They are devoted to family and friends. They protect those they love. As far as I am concerned, these are the characteristics of real women. Real women (as opposed to plastic, foofy goofs) are resolute, yet forgiving, an intimidating presence, but not pretentious. Real women take no prisoners if unjustly provoked. What they long for, though, is peace.

I tend to be a woman that's strong and opinionated. I work hard and can't stand the fluff. Don't get me wrong, I like the gossip, I like having my hair and nails done. I AM a girl after all!!!
Usually though, if I opine in public, I'm riduculed as a beyoch or a harpy. Le plus meme chose.
Surry, when I was younger I would keep my strong feelings to myself until pushed to the limit. Then people would stand open-mouthed at my loosened fury. They couldn't believe that beneath my mild mannered exterior lay a fighter. :)
Yup, I'd agree with all that!
I like the elephants! Great post.
Dave...I like a man who likes a strong woman!
Andy...thank you. :)
